Death of Taylors University College Student from a fall/jump from Suriamas Condo, Block B in Sunway, Malaysia.

It was 1045 pm. My friend showed her resident card to the guard at the guard house and our taxi was allowed inside. However, after riding towards her block we saw a bunch of people gathered around near Block B and a police car too. The area was marked off with yellow tape. We thought it was a car accident, so we paid the driver and went inside the car park and onto the next level. Just out of curiosity we walked towards area overlooking what we assumed was the accident area as there were a lot of people gathered around there too. However, we came upon a scene that we couldn’t fathom. A body was just being covered by a black plastic bag. Upon questioning a person next to us, we found that they had heard a scream and saw the body fall. We left and went to my friend’s apartment and watched the scene from her balcony. The body was then taken in an ambulance in another 5 mins and the police left the area unprotected and unmarked in another 5 mins. End of story. Another suicide in the area that no one cares about.

What I couldn’t understand is why in the name of god were we allowed to go inside the condo in a taxi when there was a suicide or murder that had just taken place inside. How could people be so irresponsible? and don’t even get me started on the polices negligence!!!

And even more worrying is the fact that no one really cares. They have the attitude of, it had nothing to do with me so why do I have to bother whether the police were carrying out their duty or not. I don’t understand why people don’t care for others. No wonder we are all going downhill. I hope I never have to see this sort of thing aagain. May god give strength to his family in this rough time.
